Why can't I get a job? I have sent resumes out and filled out applications and can't seem to find a job. I am a 51 year old female with Office background and on disability. I have my medical problems under control, but am seeking a job to fill my time. I don't like being on disability, and would rather be working in an office of some kind.

Having your office background, you may want to look into the Home business programs. You can find lots of these on the net. Refresh your applications and resume's every thirty days (update) not nessary to fill out new ones..Your area may be depressed in the job you are looking and you may have to settle for a different type job until something opens up in your field. Don't give up, you may be able to start your own home business and may be financed through disabilitys act. Trucking companies may be a good source to look into..good luck.
