Wild Planet's Mickey's Mouse-ke-TAG is an ideal Christmas gift. It's easy to play right out of the box, so kids don't have to wait for lengthy assembly or read through confusing instructions.
Kids can play it by themselves if the rest of the family is busy; or the whole family can play it together. Kids don't often get to see mom or dad run, so the kids are entertained during their parents' turns, and families work cooperatively to get a shared score.
The game is both active and educational. Players run, bend, stretch, squat and reach to tag the characters; and since the game uses RFID, there's no limit to how far apart you can place the targets, so it can be a long distance running game, or a tabletop game. Kids practice color, letter and listening skills as they have to respond to questions such as "who wears an orange shirt," "G is for Goofy" and "who says 'Golly'?". Kids learn to identify objects in multiple ways.
The game is safe for kids ages 3 and older. It has passed all the required safety tests and is very durable.
