granny, yeah, you would think that if the wikicommunity and the Yeddai were going to merge into a single group that someone would have said something. Granted we have many of the same goals and aspirations, but we have distinctly different philosophies, and inherent conflicts in how we operate. We are a lot more loosey-goosey than wikiHow when it comes to answering and staying on topic. wikiHow is trying to generate a different type of output than Yedda is, and it is output that I have suggested to Yedda that we also try to generate. So, I can see how a collaboration would be in everybody's best interests, but not why it would be kept a secret. Nor do I see why it would operate the way it has been with the way they have been posting and answering questions. If the WikiHow questions are coming from wikiHow users, are they operating under a different set of rules than all the other partner sites? Will the wikiHow users get Yedda answers or just WikiHow Community answers? Will they know if any answers are provided from Yedda, and will they (the individual original askers) be able to respond to Yedda posters?
Way too many questions. I have an eye for inconsistencies at times, and this seems to be one of those times.
