Is there a White History Month ?

Not to my knowledge. Perhaps when whites are a minority there will be one.  That will leave 10 months for other groups. 

No there isnt. It's easy to figure out.

Nope. I think because we discuss history about us white folks all year, since we rightfully stole this place from the Native Americans. So We give 1 month to the people we brought here to be our slaves, gee, how nice are we! The Native Americans should have a month if they don't. I don't think we owe any months to the others as we didn't still land or inslave them and if they want a history lesson on there heritage we aren't responsible for them being here so it should be up to them to do the research. White do not have a history month though, to answer ther question.

White people don't need a month.White people know who they are.White people wake up every morning thanking God for their lives. No watts riots,No Harlem Riots.No White Panthers.No white-eyes peas .No white Holes.No White Entertainment Television White people have identities                    

Because, for one thing, whites don't have the slavery, discrimination, elimination from the history books, etc., that blacks have experienced. Secondly, you may not have a "white history month," but you probably are included in celebrations of other ethnicities, such as other months, parades, etc. -- you must belong to one or more of those ethnic groups. I hope, after what blacks have been through and the lack of public information on their accomplishments (they are legion), you don't mind honoring them for one (short) month. 

I think there should be a white history month. There should also be an American Indian month as well as an Oriental or Asian month.  It's true that blacks were under slavery in the US as well as other parts of the world. The Chinese were also under a form of slavery in the US at one time. So were the American Indians. The Indians were kept on reservations. If you are going to have a special month for one race, there should be one for all races. To have a specail month for just one race is prejudicial and racist. The same goes for having  a "Congrssional Black Caucus."  How about the "Black Miss America" contest? The "Black Entertainment Network"? I think we should be fair to all races and not favor one over the other.

Some blacks complain they want to be treated equally, yet they want special treatment.  You can't or should not have it both ways.

By the way Ms Helpful09, I did not know that blacks were slaves for 400 years in the US.

I take this recent statement by Dr. Charles Krathammer not as fact, but as a distinct possibility.

I am not sure how many of you are familiar with the Climate Change Meeting that will be occurring in December, (Copenhagen), and the potential ramifications on Americas Sovereignty? At this point I don't, but am trying to educate myself as to the possible outcomes. Why? Because it is really starting to assail my basic American sensibility. Sorry, but I kind of like what freedoms we still posses, and have this unnerving feeling that what this administration is trying to do with OUR country is simple. That is to Take us into economic parity with the rest of the developed nations. Instead of being number ONE, we shall be ONE of many.

Dr. Krathammers statement, or belief.

"Obama doesn't really see himself as President of the United States, but more as a ruler over the world.  He sees himself above it all, trying to orchestrate & coordinate various countries and their
agendas.  He sees moral equivalency in all cultures.  His apology tour in Germany and England was a prime example of how he sees America, as an imperialist nation that has been arrogant, rather than a great noble nation that has at times made errors.  This is the first President ever who has chastised our allies and appeased our enemies!"


With that thought in mind I have taken several sections of the proposed Global Climate Change Treaty and did a little cutting and pasting.
What you will notice is what I call a lot of multiple choice language. Depending on the choices taken, and the signatures adhered to, will basically determine what we as a once sovereign nation will contribute to the rest of the world. From what I can tell, if the proper wording is picked in the FILL IN THE BLANKS, we will be screwed.  You be the judge.


Here are some of the excerpts. Once again you be the judge.
When I filled in the most conservative blanks, guess what? Take the first paragraph and you fill in the blank and ask yourself, WHAT DOES THIS DO TO OUR ECONOMY? OUR JOBS? OUR WAY OF LIFE???
If you recall Bush would not sign the Kyoto Treaty that called for a 5% reduction of Carbon Emissions for the vast ramifications that would be felt by the U. S. Let me think. What do you thing a 75 % reduction would do, much less a 95% reduction.

Convention.
38. The scheme for the new institutional arrangement under the Convention will be based on three
basic pillars: government; facilitative mechanism; and financial mechanism, and the basic organization
of which will include the following:

The government will be ruled by the COP with the support of a new subsidiary body on
adaptation, and of an Executive Board responsible for the management of the new funds
and the related facilitative processes and bodies. The current Convention secretariat will
operate as such, as appropriate.

At this point there are 200 pages of this piece of work. 


Does the Carbon Issue need to be addressed? Yes. Does Health Care need to be addressed. Yes.
How? In small, systematic increments that actually accomplish the ends to the mean. That don't disrupt our whole social and economic system at the insistence of our Presidents outlook on our FLAWED and unfair nation.


The question that I need to ask is very simple. Is this GCC treaty a means to Obama's true goal as suggested by Dr. Krathammer? How does this tie into Cap and Trade, Health Care, Compensation Control, Education, and all of the other radical changes that he is trying to enact?


I think that we are starting to see the larger picture now.
