What's the best way to scan slides?

I have many slides I took 15 years ago in Tibet. I had a glance at them yusturday and figured I really wanted to convert them to digital format. What's the best way to do that?

damm Tibbet is so amaising that every picture I took, and believe me I'm no photographer , looks like a postcard.

Cheers:)

If you have the negatives, take them to a photo shop. It may cost some money but will save lot's of work. Very few family homes own scanners that will do an equal job.

I think good photo shops have slide scanners. Make a few phone calls, I'm sure you'll find one.
