A:I agree with Allan. You can find nearly everything on Google. Visiting doctor reviewed content over the Net sounds a good idea.
I believe wikipedia has an interesting content (although it's totally user-built, but you should have a go at it). There are other specialized sites thereabout like http://www.surgery.com and many others.
