I gave my word to Nanadee that I would make my contribution here and so, of course, I will.  I'm ready.  I have many stories that I'm willing to share, but there are too many for one sitting.

How I was born by an act of God, if not just maternal instinct (I almost didn't make it), how I learned to read, write, and speak the King's English, why I first became a "published poet," my first real date in the 3rd grade, the first year I studied French (3rd grade) and my relationship with my beautiful, blond, and buxom French teacher, my first and continuous experience with theatre "magic," how and why I brought the whole school administration of my high school to a stop for a whole day and forced them to cancel the current election for President of the Senior Class and hold a new one.  I did that one all by myself with no help from anyone.  Oh yes, and then there's the story of how, at 17 years old, I almost went to Selma, Alabama and how I got my user name and why.
