Stone fruits (peaches, nectarines, apricots, cherries, plums) are in season in most areas. If you have a farmer's market nearby, make plans to go check it out.

Sugar snap peas are also available, as are artichokes and other root vegetables. Again, it will depend on your growing area as to what is locally fresh and available.

Support locally grown foods; check out a nearby farmer's market this week!
