Thats actually a really good question, maybe to start a new post. I have seen both Saving Private Ryan and Enemy at the Gates and they are both really good, but I don't recall any world war 2 movies about the british or french.  If we were going for best "war movie" my pick would 

definetly be "Full Metal Jacket"...EXCELLENT movie about the

Vietnam War and by far the best war movie!!!
