A geek is basically someone who's interested (By interested I mean obsessed .)with certain areas of knowledge. You know, a computer geek, a science fiction geek, etc. A nerd, on the other hand, is someone who, instead of being normal and having a life, devotes himself purely to knowledge. Nerds are usually very unsocial and have problems in normal social environments.

I got that from Wikipedia. If you want to go there. Type in "nerd" or "geek".

I would add that a

nerd can show up in different forms and a geek has the same basic appearance  rules he maintains.

The difference is that you're a geek and I'm a nerd.  It's that simple really.
