I do really look forward to turkey-day dinner all year-round....

I love Golan... the winery in the Golan Heights and the wine

Smile It's very yummy and I highly recommend it.  Depending on what you like, they have about every kind of wine there is.  Also, Barkan is very good, their Cabernet and Merlot (I tend to like older wines, especially with the Barkan).  Enjoy.

Love is the battery of life....

Hi,

As per my personal taste, "Gamla Cabernet Sauvignon" or "Gamla Merlot" are the best Israeli wines.... and with very reasonable prices either.....
Cheers !.

I actually like the wine from the Golan lows. It has a great lowy taste (cause its low)!

No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world.

I am going to give you a biased answer. Because my kibbutz grows grapes for the Golan Heights Winery...check out their web site

http://www.golanwines.co.il/default_eng.asp. Enjoy!

Life's too short for excessive compromise... maximize everything!

The "best"  is always subjective in nature, so no one can render more than an opinion. That said, from year to year, there will be volatility and in any given year the best wine produced will most certainly change.  I have had a lot of good Israeli wines and even more that were bad!  Here in the US, Yarden is a consistently good producer and is established as a relaible name, however there are dozens that are much better but lack the distribution and marketing.  My personal best experience was a chardonnay from
"Domaine du Castel".  I find Domaine du Castel folows traditional French wine making practices and produces great wine!
