You may be looking for a diet that will retrain your body to burn fat . One of the best healthy diets for changing your metabolism is fat loss 4 idiots this diet uses fat burning food along with drinking  a good amount of water and walking for exercise. and you can lose 9lbs. in 11 days.

I am on this diet and im making a video diary on my progress and yes that is me in the video.

The healthiest and most efficient way to lose weight is to think of one thing you are eating that is of no nutritional value. remove it from your diet the first week, second week , remove another item such as pretzels, or white bread, or soda. repeat this and add to it the third week, I know you will lose weight at a safe and healthy rate. You will be doing a great service for your  health and you will feel and be more energetic and happy. This is not a diet, it is a new approach to eating !!!!

I couldnt seem to stick to any diets becasue I love my food too much. For the last few months though I have been steadliy loosing weight at the healthy rate of about 1-2 pounds per week. This is how:

1- exersise everyday for at least 30mins. I sounds like a bit of an effort if your not used to exercise but its actually really easy to incorporate exersie into your routine. I go for a run first thing in the morning which is a great way to start the day, but it could be easy as doing star jumps while watching TV in the evening.

2- Start doing exercises to tone your muscles. There's loads of info on the web on how you can do this at home and it will increase your metabolism meaning you burn more calories each day

3- Downsize your downfalls i.e. when I want chocolate I have a child's chocolate Freddo instead of a normal bar, cutting the calories by a third and still satisfying my craving

Hope this helps, its worked for me and is sustainable.

Hey-Losing weight is easy when you make the right changes in your lifestyle. Avoid eating processed foods and try to eat foods that are as close to their natural form as possible. Salads, brown rice, millets etc accompanied by grilled veggies or grilled meat or fish. Make sure you peform some whole body metabolic exercises when you do exercise (you need a combination of strength training and aerobic exercises) and if you exercise 3-4 times a week for 45 minutes each time by following that diet you should see results really fast. (Avoid junk/food that has no nutritional value)

  1. what is the quickest and safest way to lose weight ? You need to watch what you eat an exercise regularly. Just eliminating one 12oz can of soda a day can save you 13lbs of unneeded weight.
  2. how much weight can be lost at once ? The safest amount to lose is 2lbs a week but if you are severely obese you can lose more it's best to talk to your Dr about what is the right amount for you
  3. what is a good way to keep the weight off after you lose it ? Once you start a diet keep at it, it won't be easy and you'll fall of the wagon but don't let that discourage you. instead of getting upset that you ate a sliver of cake or a chocolate bar, make a journal of why you don't need that cake or candy bar and ways you can avoid that temptation next time. You could also make a list of your favorite foods and see how many calories that is and how long you would have to exercise to burn that off. It takes roughly 26minutes non stop walking to work off a 12 oz can of soda. I hope this helps and good luck.
