Whats the difference between Weight Watchers and any other diet?

Weight Watchers emphasizes the fact that they do not consider themselves a "diet". Under their plan you can eat whatever you want you just have to count points. So if you decide to have a piece of cake, then you just have to consider it into your daily points and eat less elsewhere. Instead of cutting out any kinds of food, Weight Watchers provides you with points for everything so that you can eat what you want and learn to control your portions and change your lifestyle instead of depriving yourself the way that other diets force you to.

Every story has an end but in life, every end is just a new beginning.

I've tried the Weight Watchers diet and they are constantly emphasizing a lifestyle change and not a deprivation diet like most other diets. But the whole thing that didn't work for me is that if it's a lifestyle change and not a diet, why was I walking around counting calories and measuring food. It took much energy and it definitely did not catch to my lifestyle.

Weight Watchers is a point system. They have foods in the grocery store that you can buy that are less in points. For example- A regular Thomas' English Muffin would be 3 pts when a Weight Watchers English Muffin would only be 1 pt. There are differences in the taste of most things but nothing too drastic. My sister was on Weight Watchers and I tried all of their foods and they weren't that bad. The difference in this diet compared to others is hard to say. You would have to be more specific as to which diets you want to compare it to. I'll just compare it to Nutri System for now. Nutri System also has its own food. There aren't any points to count just a certain amount of meals per day and their portions- which are small. That has better results though. My aunt lost 10 lbs in a little over one week. She's losing a lot fast- its amazing. Its a lot more expensive though too.

Weight Watchers is a amazing diet and I live by it. Even though this is my 3rd time doing it, I have lost the most weight this time, and it has become a second nature to me. All foods equal to point values and you can eat anything you want. The Weight Watcher candy snacks are great but some of the bread food is a little werid, but less in points. The diet is deff. not like any other diet because its not a diet, its a system to help you learn to eat better, teach you habits that you were never taught exspecially in American PORTION SIZES lol the habits like life long, so once you learn them you will be lean and healthy the rest of your life.
