Hi Jane, It seems like you're very dedicated to your duties. So much, that you forget to spend some quality time with yourself. There's no magic in losing weight. You should exercise well, eat well and relax. Finding time/making room for exercise will eventually come up with some benefits, as you'll be less tired and more energetic. Don't neglect you're personal health.

One easy way to get some exercise , relieve some stress and to clear your mind is by taking a simple walk each day. You don't have to start out very far, around the block will do. As you get into the habit of taking daily walks you will find yourself taking longer ones. Once your legs and body gets used to these simple walks, increase your speed a bit and you will start seeing some great results.

Good luck and best wishes.

That is a full plate that you have.

Hope you don't mind, but please do not focus on the size or the weight, focus on being healthy.

1.  Break your meals into even smaller multiple meals that are more healthy.  This might not be possible for dinner, but do it for the other meals.  Stick to fruits, especially ones with fibre or high water content

2. Take the stair instead of the elevator wherever you go.  Just do it.

3. If your kids have the wii, when they go to bed, play the sports package games for 30 minutes instead of watching TV for 20 minutes.  Go get a wii if you don't have one.  Heck your husband can join you!

4. Get a bike and cycle this spring.  Commit to it.  Why?  It's great for legs, abs, gluts, very cardiovascular, and will not cause shin splints.  Plus, it's fun to have the wind in your face, and your family can join you for some family time.

5.  Go get the book Getting Things Done and use his methods daily.  The less stressed you feel, the better off you will be from highblood pressure.  David Allan has a no-nonsense approach for just getting the mundane tasks of life that we all have into a system we can manage.

As hard as it is as a full-time working mom w/ 3 kids, it's important to make time for yourself - it'll pay off in the long run.
