How to lose weight, ie, the way to change your diet, does not seem to be the problem in your case. What does seem to be the problem is that, in your own words, "I have been in self destruction mode physically since I've been (mostly happily) married." This statement indicates that there is a deeper issue here than just how to eat to lose weight. When we have an underlying dynamic where we self sabotage ourselves for some reason, it can be hard to achieve our goals. My suggestion to you would be to find a counselor who can work with you to discover what belief system you have that may be preventing you from being able to achieve weightloss. After removing beliefs that are obstacles, the losing weight should become much easier.
