We are looking for a part time photographer or an ametuer who enjoys doing wedding photographs for a very small wedding to held on 10/17/08 in Otsego. Can you help with this search? We have limited fund and do not want an 8 or 10 hr shoot. Thank You!

The best way is to find one amongst your family or guests.
For myself I had my cousin do it for me, since you dont have much budget this is the best thing to do, I promised him a candle light dinner, hehehe and it did work.
If you dont have a good camera you can rent the camera though.

Better to go for quality rather than quantity. That is, I would book a good creative photographer for 4 hours rather than get a happy snapper.

Probably the main thing that affects what a photographer charges is time spent at the site. Usually a photographer will offer different packages according to how long he is at your wedding and/or reception. This might start at just 1 hour for a smaller, civil ceremony at a justice of the peace and go up to 12 or 14 hours to cover the bride getting ready in the morning to the couple leaving the venue at night. The number of factors that determines wedding photography prices is: 1. The amount of time (how many hours) the photographer needs to serve. 2. Number of photos he will take. 3. The size/quality/brand of wedding album; 4. Any additional products such as framed prints, proof albums or DVD slideshows.
