Do you know about Webkinz (the plush "pets" and the website)? Are they educational or just entertaining? To put my question another way: Are Webkinz good for a child or just a commercial product?

I do not think they are dangerous just addicting for children to have a lot small stuffed animals. It does keep them attentive to their animals needs on a daily basis.
its really not educational its just entertaining but sometimes it can get really boring and i dont think young kids under 8 would like it my advice dont waist your money on it there expensi
I appreciate your opinion, but as far as the children under eight not liking Webkinz, you are dead wrong. They are the number one in both the plush and interactive toy categories in EVERY age category, including children age 5-8
i have 25 webkinz an webkinz is so cool and amazing it is both they have school questions in quizzy's and fun games webkinz is so fun and not that much money. i love webkinz and webkinz is a great gift but alittle more for a girl and if you wanted to know webkniz can't de and they are safe i love ganz and i hope they never get rid of webkinz because are my life and other kids life i am on webkinz 10hours a day in summer and school day's at least 3 and a half and i also go outside and i go to dances and other things so i think webkinz is an amazing game i also love the plushie too i love playing with that to and i am 12 my sister who is 5 likes them too hope you do to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel Webkinz is educational. As a Mother, I have watched my 9yr learn about money. How much the items cost, the value of a dollar bill. It also has lots of questions to answer & you earn $ for answering them correctly. I would highly recommended this website to anyone.
