Is Web 2.0 module can make money?

i know that web2 is knowledge and knowledge is money. but can someone tell me exactly what kind of benefits can i make from building a website in this way?

it's easy to use by the surfers but where is the money? as one who never clicks on "Sponsored links" or stuff like that, i cant point on an exact benefit from that rush. what's the rush?

I think you might be given the buzz word web 2.0 to much emphasis because it's only that, a buzz word. To me, “web 2.0” represents cheaper and more accessible web technology for developers and more emphasis on user generated content from the user point of view. Most startups justifiably or not place most of their business model expectations on the sheer number of users (e.g. Digg), at least in the formation stage. The common thought is, well when I have 2 million users I'll find a way to make it into a viable business. With that sad, there are countless examples of web 2.0 startups that have made it and are here to stay as an example have a look at Xuaq.com with their very creative business model.

And... if you have 24 minutes to spare, have a look at this video:

Hope that helps.

The answer is EXTREMELY simple, ayaniv. You draw as many users as you can, by the value delivered from your offering, and then advertisers will pay you money in order to place ads in front of these "eye balls". The more "qualified" -- demographically, or otherwise -- the target [users], the better. Users will not balk at ads if your site delivers enough value to them....
