Turn off the television and teach your children how to think.

Evidently, the drugs you take have not helped your intelligence.

Hello, the testing labs are scientifically controlled! You don't think someone who is knowledgable of basic science (and familiar with drug users) would notice the difference between straight urine and urine mixed with water?

And you don't think the chemical testing which the urine is subjected to will be able to isolate and identify ALL of its substances - including H20 (water)?

Please. Prepare to look for another job or have your probation revoked or whatever else is the reason you were being tested.

You're screwed.

Yes, a client ended up in drug classes because he couldn't provide enough urine so he added some water from the tap. Also if you drink too much liquid before testing you could have a dilute test which is a failure.

Hey Adam,
I don't usually answer drug testing questions because it's not my thing to help people beat tests; I try to help people figure out if they have a drug or alcohol problem and then help them treat it. But, if you dilute a urine sample with water, some labs will note that the sample has been diluted or tampered with. Good luck,

I was not trying to be a bitch about it.

I merely stated my opinion - which is, OF COURSE it is going to come up dirty!

If someone wants to be an idiot and use illegal drugs, then it's not my place to stop them. But for heaven's sake, then they need to use their brains.

If you know you have a scheduled test coming up, STOP USING.

If you know you are subject to random tests, it is YOUR CHOICE to continue using - and then you had damn well better be prepared to take the consequences.

And that does not mean trying to 'hide' the truth by diluting the sample with water.

Hiding things is what a child does so he doesn't get in trouble; because he doesn't understand that all his mommie has to do is look under the bed and in the closet to see that he didn't REALLY clean his room.

This guy did the same thing with the drug test; I stand by my opinion. It's childish and stupid.

Most likely your urine will come back diluted. Just b/c it's diluted doesn't mean it won't also be positive for drugs. The urine can come back diluted AND positive for whatever drug you used. The testing is so sophisticated they're hard to beat.
