No, grey (gray) pvc conduit is for electrical work. it is not pressure rated. there is a pvc (sch. 80)that is available only through plumbing wholesalers and has specific uses, usually de-ionized water system, or other medical uses. you would have to give me the astm numbers on the pipe and I could let you know for sure, even then you would have to use sch. 80 fittings to go with the pipe. your best bet if you want glue type piping is cpvc, PVC is NOT rated for hot water =only cold. you can use pvc on sprinkler systems only right now.otherwise pex pipe is good, but you have to use a tool for the connections, or copper (soldering).
