Is there an automatic pressure release valve for a water boiler tank, I guess if some thing goes wrong and the thermostat malfunctions it can easily explode.
I recently installed a new tank and the plumber who did the job attached an external safety valve, which supposed to release extra pressure in case of thermostat malfunction. As I understood, this kind of valve is a standard today, so I doubt if there are any tanks with internal valve.
