Watching the sun's corona

Is it possible to see the sun's corona only during a total eclipse, or are there any other chances?

It's easier to watch the corona during an eclipse but it can also be viewed through a coronograph, a device that cen be attached to a telescope which blocks out direct strong light from a star. Here is some more info on it:
