keystone rv inc. Just wondering if anyone out there has ever had any success in getting Keystone RV Inc. to cover a repair which is beyond what Keystone considers to be the "Warranty Period" of one year from date of purchase. I Signed papers for purchase of RV on 10/01/07: left RV on dealers lot until 4/24/08, at which time dealer went over all aspects of RV. We winterized RV in beginning of Oct. 2008. On 4/30/09 we are cleaning RV and getting it ready for the summer and we find that the white molding over the wheels has cracked/broken. This has been caused by the screws which the company used to secure trim molding to camper. Screws were inserted too tight causing hairline cracks which eventually grew larger causing material to crack and break. Trim is a fiberglass/vinyl material, tight screws did not allow for expansion, etc.. We are being told, problem is not covered because we are outside of one year warranty period, which began on date we purchased RV, not date we actually took possess iof RV from dealer.
