I hope someone has answers. part 1, How does one go about writing a book, finding a publisher to submit story to. How to protect story so someone else does not steal it, also creating a pen name and its purpose, how is that done. I would like to get into story witting but am completely in the dark here know nothing about the above or even how to look up publishers address. I have some good Ideas, I like to think so, won't know till try. one think do know if you have a good story, spelling and grammar not a issue if the story is good , a publisher will have person handle that. but protecting the story from being stolen while it is viewed by other till gets to the personals at the top. 2nd part question
Also would like to know if anyone can supply me with the info for submitting screen place with the above east coast who do I e mail it to studios what department , pen name, is it needed cost and cost to protect screen name same as submitting story what needs to be done to protect screen play and how is it written were on web site find instruction how to write one free instruction on the above 2 book and screen play for movie?

First of all, you write like someone who doesn't have a good command of the English language. Is English your second language? Grammar and spelling in this day and age is very important. Markets are looking for professionally written work. It is especially so due to the Internet. Yes, there are line editors, but a bad command of the language will only hurt you. Stay away from self-publishing. It's expensive, they don't edit your work when it needs it, it's a vanity press; it's a printer. If you want to write stories, try first reading the work of famous writers: like Hemingway, Willa Cather, Doris Lessing, etc. Markets are found by typing into the search box "Short Story Markets," for example. I know with screenwriting they have software that helps pull it together. Read some plays by Chekov, Ibsen; "Waiting for Godot," all kinds of plays. Go to the library. In other words educate yourself with established writers. You may have great ideas, but you need to learn the language better. I'm not saying put on airs; use your own "voice" when you're writing, but check spelling, use a word processor like Microsoft Word, and read a lot. Good luck.
