Wake up call

I am a paramedic and there is a new "wake up" system in my bedroom for at night.  It consists of a 97 decibel siren speaker and a bright light.  This is in a 6 foot by 9 foot rectangle room that I have the door shut in.  is this not injurous to my ears?
