Volvo recalling 125000 trucks in the US because of an electrical problem.
Is this the first time Vovo is doing a recall?
I though they were supposed to be famous for their reliability.
What goes around comes around
Hi,
There have been recalls, but I don't believe any of the recent ones have been at such a large scale. Many companies have small recalls and we, as consumers, don't get to hear about them all the time.
This case is very unusual and I also have Volvo tagged in my head as one of the more reliable brands. I guess every company has its problems and it's just a matter of frequency.

This isn't the forst for Volvo, but people should start realizing that a recall does not indicate a flaw in credibility, but the exact opposite.
Everybody has fouls, the more reliable ones admit it and take responsibility.
Do they think the problem is just with the US Volvo truck... My new Volvo has windows that go up and down by themselves.......wipers that turn on by themselves....oh and heaven forbid you would get out to fuel or whatever and leave your keys in truck. You would be calling a locksmith to get back in. I will have to North American Volvo a email and ask them why the recall did not come to Canada.
