Voices from who knows where?

One day I was talking on the phone with my mom and must have lost the spike to my lip ring. When I  lost it seconds later I heard someone say ''Hey'' Well once I had actually realized it was gone I searched all over but no luck. 15 minutes later I saw it exactly where I heard the voice. Those voices weren't new, for years I heard them calling my name as well. Telling my mom only had her tell me it was god calling me or whatever. I am no nut or anything that's why I never react like it's scary or anything, but I gotta wonder what's up?

i don't know whether it is spirits that are helping to guide you or your subconscious or super-conscious that is giving you the helping hand.  In any event, the more you utilize and acknowledge the connection the more frequent will be its manifestation.

Some people are luckier than others and have extra sensitivities to the world and that that's in it.

Surrender.  Surrender.  But don't give yourself away . . . .

   ~ Cheap Trick ~

Not to be too negative or frighten you, when I was in college, my roommate started hearing her name being called, or hummed.  She went to classes every day, and did very well.  10 years later I found out that she had been diagnosed as a schitzophrenic.

This doesn't mean that this is your issue, but I would make sure that it isn't your brain before looking at the spiritual angle.  Ask yourself some questions, like "Do the voices actually talk to me?" Or "Do they tell me to do things?"  It is always important to rule out physical illness before looking at other causes.

Be Blessed.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (Love), I am become as a sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vauneth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seekth not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is (Love) charity.

dwcarter31,

Please read I Samuel 3:1-11. If it is the Lord that is calling you, he will reveal himself to you.

I Samuel 3: 9-11  Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, speak, Lord; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

A word of caution; before you obey, please make sure that it is the Lord's voice that you hear. "My sheep know my voice and a stranger they will not follow".

Be Blessed of the Lord.
