If you ask me all vodka brands has the exact same taste, some guy told me that the taste in vodka is not the point and it does not matter.is this true
The better a vodka is, there is less taste in it, in a proper vodka there should only be water and alcohol, so your friend is right - taste is not the point of a vodka.

It's not the taste of the vodka that is the difference between cheap and more expensive versions, but rather the effect and the hangover. The cheaper the vodka, the worse the hangover... I know this from experience. Once I started drinking better vodka, I didn't have a hangover (I can't guarantee you won't have one though!)
I am no authority on vodka but I do like to drink it and I find that there is differences in brands. I highly recommend Hanger One vodka. I also think that Gray Goose is mighty tasty. I drink vodka on the rocks and I think the taste of store brands and cheap brands is vile. I also think that no matter the price point of the vodka you drink; if you over-indulge; you will have a uncomfortable hangover.
