I've been using Fring (and Skype) over HSDPA with pretty good results, and there are other clients (iSkoot, etc.) for this, but I don't think this is a long-term solution for businesses as it stands now. This is why I'm wondering if there's any "official" carrier-sanctioned mobile VoIP trial/service, which is done somewhere, with actual near-landline, or at least near-cellular QOS. This would be a "pure" VoIP service offered by the carrier, not the kind we use (pay for the data and use a client like Skype).
