Vitamin combinations

what combination of vitamins is not good for the health? I take daily a vitaminc C, B-12, B-6, D-3, calcium, fish oil, flaxeed oil collagen, biotin, E, and 2 multivitamins....but instaed of feeling more energetic, I feel more tired.....Am I doing something wrong?

The vitamins A_D_E_K_can be harmful if taken in mega doses. My doctor told me one a day of a regular dose vitamin was sufficient!

Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.

Vitamins are essential to maintain health, but people who eat a balanced diet usually do not need supplements. (The fish oil might be a good idea, since most of us do not eat fatty fish on a regular basis)  Contrary to what the sellers claim, most supplements do not have much effect on diseases or disorders of the body.

Some supplements, like Vitamin C, Iron and Calcium, if taken to excess or in the wrong combination, can disrupt the absorption of other nutrients.

For the time being, I would cut back on the C and one of the multis, and try to find a nutritionist to recommend an appropriate regiment.  Don't ask at the vitamin store; their business is to sell vitamins, whether you need them or not.

 

 

 

I have read that synthetic vitamins can actually have this effect on you of making you feel tired after taking them. Synthetic vitamins are made in a lab to mimic naturally occurring vitamins. Pretty much all vitamins you can buy are synthetic unless they state otherwise.
