If you're overweight, it tends to really emphasize that to the detriment of whatever you may have done to look more attractive. Normal sized, well, it's not terribly attractive, but it doesn't really bother most guys. I'm a non underwear user myself, so I tend to prefer women that pass on them as well. And unlike most men, I do not find thongs terribly attractive. A woman in a t shirt and a nice pair of bikini panties, now THAT'S attractive.
