Virgin Mary in my coffee cup

My friend and I were having coffee, and when we got the order we saw this:

Do you think it's really the Virgin Mary?

We didn't drink this, but I guess the coffee place washed the cup

What should I do?

It's hard to say if the one you saw was the Virgin Mary.   So, I think you're Catholics.  If you think this was the Virgin Mary,  then maybe you need to say the Rosary more frequently.Smile

im afraid it looks more like an oriental woman in a traditonal japanese or chinese dress to me. But if you thought it was mary, prehaps she has been in your subconcious mind alot recently, so prehaps you should ask yourself if your minds trying to remind you of something, or, look into any other reasons why you may think that this lady looks like her.

hope i was of some help

God Bless

ladybuguette, That's doesn't look like the Virgin Mary to me at all.  It doesn't even look like liquid coffee.  It looks more like one of those little cakes you can bake in a mug in the microwave.  The edges are even pulling away from the inside.  Your image looks like an elderly lady with a cane and a back pack.  The Virgin Mary didn't carry either of these.  Sorry, that's my opinion.  Your question as to what should you do?  Nothing.  What is there for you to do?  Next time try Starbucks.

Well first of all, I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing The Virgin Mary. I'm leaning more towards saski's answer. Looks more like a Buddhist monk to me.

I agree with saski to a big extend! It really doesn't look like virgin Mary for me.

We all tend to see what we want in random arrangements. If you are Catholic, as I am, perhaps it looks like the Virgin to you. I believe if the Virgin Mary wanted to appear to you, she would be more obvious.

God bless.

God doesn't do magic tricks. This is a coincidence or a hoax. You need to get your eyes off stupid shrouds, statues, ikons, etc. and get into the Bible, the Word of God, which contains all truth. You are deceived! Now get over it and get close to Jesus Christ. Mary can't save anyone and she doesn't have any authority over Jesus.
