Vented gas log flue size?

A client is building a new home & is interested in using vented gas logs in a variety of large-opening fireplaces. I'm trying to determine proper flue-size for the chimneys. I'm concerned that using traditional wood-burning design standards would be inappropriate for gas logs. Could you direct me to a reference for sizing flues to accommodate vented gas logs? Is there a "rule of thumb"?
