Vendor Machines That Accept Debit /Credit Cards

Would this  be a wise choice if  vendor machines  would  allow  people to use  their  debit/credit cards to purchase snacks  and or pop/other drinks..But only vendor machines protected  by  security cameras And or  a highly secured  area ..What you think about  this , Good idea  or  bad  idea?

Instant Person-Just add coffee.

The snack and drink machines at our Park District have had these for quite a while for credit cards.  It's very convenient-you just swipe your card.. They are not protected by security cameras and are in a public area, and PIN numbers are not required. I've seen them in a few other places in this area, so they may be getting more popular.
