The best vegan restaurant I have ever been to was in NYC, called Caravan of Dreams (405 E 6th street on 1st Ave). A bit pricey, but really worth every penny. It is all natural, all organic food. I have never felt better after I ate at Caravan. The number is 212-254-1613. You should make a reservation if you go on a weekend, it gets very busy.  My favorite yoga studio was also in NYC, on 13th street between 7th and 8th Ave called the integral yoga studio.
