Vegetable Oil and Fudge

Can I use margarine or vegetable oil spreads when making fudge?

Use only regular butter or 100% corn oil margarine in candies. Using spreads or substitutes can cause recipe failure since these products contain additional moisture or different fats.

Does anyone have a recipe for small spareribs and kale with tomato sauce. My Italian grandmother used to serve this as a first course on Christmas Day.

If you want your fudge to harden, do not use margarine or vegetable oil.

Yes,if you have no butter.

You are going to ruin your fudge if you use anything other than butter, so go ahead if you want soft fudge. You can always eat it with a spoon.
