I also bought the Vassarette Slippers at Walmart. They are the most comfortable slippers I have EVER owned. I bought one pair, loved them, bought two more pair just in case. Well, "just in case" happened! Walmart quit carrying them and all of mine are sooooo worn. I look for them in every store that carrys any type of slipper........so far...........no luck.
Why does it seem that whenever you find something you like, it disappears? 
Be assured, if I ever find them Vassarette Slippers anywhere, I will post it here.
