Zoro, I fear there's not much you can do. The only advice I can give you is to bring a tissue of some sort to clean them whenever they get fumes on them.. The situation is very similar to having fumes on your car in the winter, when you're driving and it's cold.. you simply have to clean them manually to get them to go away, or to change the tempreture in your car (which in your case, can not be done..) SORRY..
