Hi ! I was diagnosed with Gall Bladder stones (I had pain attack once otherwise had no issues and this attack happened immediately I delivered my baby) and had undergone Laparoscopy & gall bladder was removed. Before Laproscopy MRI scan was done to see bile duct and no evidence of bile duct stones was found. Hence Endoscopy was not done. After which I had no complaints of pain or anything. But still Liver function test shows slight elevated Billurubin, SGOT & SGPT. ALP has gone back within range. Does that mean CBD might have some slidge which is not visible in MRI scan and I should undergo Endoscopy? Is Endoscopy must? Because my doctor is suggesting Endoscopy to flush outthe slug if thereis any in the CBD & after that LFT will be normal he believes. I have gone through c-section for my baby then immediately Laproscopy and again Endoscopy. I’m scred to go for Endoscopy. Please suggest the possible reasons for Billurubin & enzymes still high & should I really got for Endoscopy ? Your early response will be highly appreciated. Regards Deepshikha Chakraborty
