Any good technique to unscrew a bolt which head is defective ?
Try using a screwdriver with a long handle, so you'll have more torque. Furthermore, try heating the screwdriver's tip on a stove's flame. Attach it to the bolt's head for about 1/2 a minute and then try to unscrew the stubborn bolt.
Just a old Country Boy, would give you the shirt off my back, just don't try to take without asking first.....
There is a lubricant called rust buster that will lubricate the threads well enough to remove the screw or bolt also try a pair of pliars or go to Lowes or HD in the tool section where they have specialized sockets for worn out bolt heads but if it's a screw get a pair of pliars on it.
