How long does UNOPENED e-mail stay in my new mail?

AOL Mail - Community Support Team

Mail that has never been opened will stay in your New mail folder for 30 days then be deleted.  However, if you open a mail and then mark "Keep as New" it will never be deleted.

If you are using an Inbox folder, mail - opened or not - is never deleted.
