If you have an abscess tooth that has to be pulled, and a recommended fixed 3 tooth bridge put in, why is a core build up necessary if the teeth on each side of the pulled tooth is in good condition?
A core build up should not be necessary. A post and core build-up are only used on a tooth that had root canal therapy. You are correct.
