Now that we have a space ship on Mars, and maybe we will have someone across the universe to talk to, do you think we should call it youniverse?
Wouldn't this reflect the ability to talk to someone out there?
I guess it could be a cute change, though why would you assume Martians speak English, and would actually understand what it means?
I mean, it does sound the same...
Even though one of our spacecrafts did make it to mars, it's actually a very close destination to earth if you compare it to the size of the whole universe - that's probably like saying you own the world because you walked from the living room to the bathroom inside your house...
Also, I'd be more incline to talk to aliens if they didn't stated that they own the universe.

I like the play on universe... We are already calling out to others in space. The Voyager space probes and SETI- Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence also, watch the movie Contact or read the book. The phone is ringing but no one has picked it up- if only they had voice mail.

What ever we call it,Mankind will certainly colonize other worlds someday. I have to wonder how long it will take us to bring our moon,or even Mars to the state our Earth is in. Hopefully we will learn to care more for our own place in this "YOUinverse" before we move on.
