Love is the battery of life....

Hi,
The United States is so big, blessed with all required resources so the country is independent on other countries (can supply all it's needs by itself).  Still the United States are not isolated from what happeneds in the "outside" world and is effected by what happends there.  2 examples:
1.  Better prices in Asia for some products will
result in export of those product, and hence
shortage in the States.  The result: Price
     increase in the local market
2.  Certain products are cheaper in Asia.  That
will result im massive import.  The result:
the local industry will have to cope or be out
     of market.
Best regards,
