Is it truely justified for a large department store who advertises savings for the average person to raise their interest rate on their credit card too, in my opinion, an amount most people can't afford.
Yes, it's very unfair. Try to pay off your credit cards as soon as possible and avoid charging from your credit cards. Live within your means. If you don't have cash, stay away from stores.
BUT now another major department is doing the same thing so I guess it's time to cut up all credit cards and make cash king if it isn't already.
