Unemployment insurance

Is there an insurance company that will pay you directly if you are laid off? I know that Aflac policies pay if you are off for medical reasons but I am looking for a policy that will pay if I were to laid off.

You can swim all day in the sea of knowledge, and never get wet.

If you worked for a company and made over $2,500. You can apply for unemployment insurance through your state. When you worked for the company, they have paid into it, an so did you. So get on line and find your workforce center in your county, and check for unemployment benefits.
