VP, I think you should express your feelings to your representatives as often as you like. It is one of your rights as an American citizen.
But I think you should also be aware that there are many people out of work, and not all of those people are as lucky as you. Some of them (myself among them) do not qualify for unemployment benefits.
So who is going to pay our salaries?
I have been unemployed for nearly a year. I do not qualify for, nor receive, unemployment benefits and I also do not receive any other kind of financial aid or government assistance.
I appreciate your desire to keep your benefits coming, I truly do. I just have to say, I wish I had some, too.
