I am employed, but at the same time I know that my company is struggling, and I have seen others being laid off... and felt lucky that it wasn't me. I can only pray that I'll have a job until June.

No one said that the recession is going to end immediately. To answer your question, I don't think any of us feels safe about our jobs like we once did. I for one think that our government is taking the right steps in getting us out of the mess that we are in, but it will take time. It is a well know fact that there are going to be a lot of people out of work for quite some time, and one administration or one person can't be blamed.
