Kirsten,  I see from your profile that you are very young.  Good.  Take a couple of classes and go into the medical field.  There are plenty of medical jobs that pay decent money, and you don't have to be a rocket scientist.  Use the opportunity you have living at home now to take those classes.  There is a big demand for all kinds of medical workers right now, especially with the baby boomers retiring.  Learn to take x-rays, draw blood, even receptionist or billing work.  There will always be a need for medical workers, and you will always be able to find a job.  Good luck.
