Is U.S. Passport Good in UK Until Day It Expires

I have a U.S. passport which expires Jan 3, 2010. I am traveling to MAN arriving Dec 6th and departing Dec 11th. Is there any problem since my passport is good until Jan 2010?

I don't think you should encounter any problem.  You may have to convince British Custom that you will be gone before Jan 3, 2010.  A dated return plane ticket should be adequate proof.  I think it is a good idea to check with the British Consulate before you leave.  Be sure to apply for a new one as soon as you come home.

Passport must be valid for six months after entry.  So  your passport is not acceptable and you will be denied entry by UK customs.
